ADVENTURE FOR

EVERYONE

We are Johnathan and Whitney Aelmore, owners of Raider Ranch.  While we may own and operate this business, Layla (cute little nugget on the right) is truly the boss. Whitney's mother and father have been in the longhorn industry for over 13 years and we have decided to begin our own journey of developing a Longhorn program.

We are both graduates of Texas Tech University.  Our current careers keep us close to Houston much of the week, but you can find us at the ranch just about every weekend.  We are passionate about the Longhorn lifestyle and what it means to create a breeding program for such a wonderful specimen.  

Our herd has begun with a bang already.  We purchased four heifers from Varner Farms and almost immediately gained a 5th.
This breeding program is not only for quality show cattle.  It is also to create a sustainable source of quality Registered Texas Longhorn Beef for consumer consumption.
